Well, there is a new sheriff in town over at One Buc Place. With the free agency market set to open at 12:01am Friday, the Bucs made some large moves today.
11 time Pro Bowl linebacker, Derrick Brooks was cut. Joey Galloway and his traveling diva show was cut. Cato June axed. 1 year reunion with Warrick Dunn is one and done, he was cut. And the most dependable 3rd down wideout, Ike HIlliard was cut as well.
I am a bit disturbed how Derrick Brooks was treated. He has been a fantastic player for the Bucs, twice renogiated his contract to allow the team to acquire additional players, and is one of the highest quality players in the NFL. He will be sorely missed.
