Deja vu, 2002?

During the first part of the NFL season, the Tampa Bay area was consumed with Rays fever. And rightly so, it was the best story in MLB this season, but now it's time to start paying attention to another team flying under the radar screen of the National media, the Buccaneers. There are some startling similarities between the 2008 campaign and the 2002 Super Bowl year.

In 2002, the Bucs launched their season at home against the New Orleans Saints. We lost that game on a mishandled punt which was recovered in the endzone for a score by the Saints late in the game. In 2008, we opened the campaign against the Saints, and we lost in New Orleans, 24-20. In 2002, our 12th game of the season was against the Saints. The Buccos lost that game too.
This year, once again we played the Saints for game number 12. In 2002, we lost, and the score of that game, 23-20. The score of the game we won today? 23-20.

3 times in the Bucs history they have achieved the 9-3 record at this point in the season, and all 3 times, the Bucs advanced to the NFC Championship game. Let's see if we cant do it again.

Well, I issued my 10 points of the game yesterday on the blog, and SHAZAM! better than the local fish wrapper rag "journalists" which are paid to write about the Bucs, my comments seemed a bit more relevent. Let's review 8 of 10 points I suggested.

2. Stretch the field. Everytime the Bucs threw more than 20 yards it was a completed pass and even a 39 yard score to Bryant.

3.Dunn/Williams around the corner. Was that not a 8 yard TD scamper by Caddy around the right corner, outside of the tackles for the score. Carnell never touched the ball again after that and every single run was right up the middle. Tisk Tisk.

4. Stevens. He was involved in the 1st half, then simply disappeared.

5. Pass rush. Coming out after halftime, the D line applied some pressure but evaporated in the 4th quarter.

6. Trueblood. Announcers never mentioned his name. Thats a great thing.

7. No Huddle. We experimented with that this afternoon, and it was successful.

9. Contain. Reggie Bush had a -13yards on punt returns today. He was held to 0 yards on three attempts and had 32 yds on 5 receptions. Thumbs up defense!

10 Score TD's. This is still a work in progress.

Some various observations from today's game.

Cadillac Red Tag Event-
This team can't depend on Warrick Dunn to carry the ball 25 times down the stretch. It was nice to see Caddy score one today, but was a little disappointed to only see him carry the ball 4 times.

Ageless Wonder-
Warrick Dunn, at age 33, continues to astound me. A proud Florida State Alum, is running like he did during his college career. 22 carries for 74 yards.

Unknown, Undrafted-
2 players which are making a serious impact on this team are Clifton Smith and Elbert Mack.

Mack is a DB who is huge on special teams. He had 3 solo tackles today. Maurice Stovall, take notice, your roster spot is in serious jeopardy.

Clifton Smith. Another undrafted free agent signing who spent the first 8 weeks of the year on the practice squad. The Bucs drafted Dexter "slip and fall" Jackson in the 2nd round of the draft this year, but I was really excited to see the Bucs sign "Peanut" Smith after watching his videos on Youtube while he played at Fresno State University. Skids Jackson returned kicks and punts for the first 8 games and accumulated 417 return yards. Peanut has returned kicks and punts for 4 games (841 combined yardage) and has returned both a punt and a kickoff for a touchdown, something which has never been done in Bucs history in the same season. This kid is electric, and everytime he touches the ball, you are thinking he can go yard. We've finally found our Dave Megget, Devin Hester or Josh Cribbs. Peanut is adding hidden yardage to each and every Bucs game and giving the offense great field position.

Jeff, you're not in high school anymore.
I've seen you in person, you have smaller calves than I have. I'm 41, you're 39, but good god almighty man, you ran for 43 yards today, never minding to slide. Your former Playboy playmate of the year wife is pregnant again with your second child, slide for god's sake. I've got to say, you are one of the toughest SOB's I've ever watched in the league. You get slammed like a ragdoll and you shake it off and get up and take another snap. You are 6-1 as a starter this year, and these guys on offense want to play for you. Just like 2002, players showed up to play for Brad Johnson, this team is rallying around you. Stay healthy for the next 4 weeks, we need you.

Paging Joey Galloway
Joey, you have a weekly radio show? Why? You posted 3 consecutive 1000 yard seasons for the Bucs and I did see you in the game today for 2 plays. 2 plays. Garcia threw you a ball and you dropped it. I predicted your dropoff this season on this blog. I don't know what your issues are this season. Anyway it was nice to see you in for a couple of plays, the past few weeks I was scanning milk cartons at Publix for your picture on the side panels, have you seen me? Gruden was correct in labeling you as the White Tiger. You quit in the playoff game last January against the Giants and you've not ever regained your stature since. I look forward to the Bucs releasing you this offseason and I want the Bucs to sign Lee Evans from Buffalo this offseason.

Carolina won today and Atlanta is hanging with San Diego as I type. Monday night's game is going to be huge.

Dome sweet Dome

Old man winter is making an impact on virtually every game played outdoors this Sunday. With the exception of Oakland everyone who doesn't play in a dome will have to deal with the elements. This is one Sunday I'm glad I won't be sitting in Ray Jay.

Buffalo-33 and snow
Cleveland-40, windy rain
Cincinnati-40, windy rain
Green Bay- 28, snow storm
NY Jets- 38, windy rain
Washington- 39, windy rain
New England- 34, sleet rain and wind
Tampa Bay- 72, windy and rain

Yeah, the couch looks to be a great option today. Nothing like paying 100.00 for a ticket, paying 7.50 for a beer and sitting in the rain. Perhaps I should move the tv into the bathroom and watch the game in the shower. Atleast I won't have to wait in line for the bathroom!

Dear Jon,

Jon. I understand that you have coached the Bucs to an 8-3 record and we are currently the #2 seed in the NFC. However, on Sunday we face the team which has caused the Bucs so much heartache over the years. A Drew Brees led Saints team and a Bucs defense which loves to allow those little 6-8 yard passes which always seem to come back to bite us in the ass. And they will Sunday, when the Saints show up with Lance Moore, Colston, and Reggie Bush.

You aren't going to get away with allowing the visiting team to put 17 points on the board first this time. After being down 24-3 to Kansas City and 17-0 to Detroit, need I mention the 2 worst teams in the NFL, that kind of behavior isn't going to cut it on Sunday. I understand, New Orleans is 1-4 on the road this season and the Buccos are a perfect 5-0 at home. Let's make it 6-0. Carolina is reeling offensively and will be playing in Green Bay where it should be a balmy 16 degrees. Atlanta is visiting a hungry San Diego squad who needs to win to stay in the hunt for the AFC West. If you take care of business on Sunday, New Orleans will be basically eliminated from the playoff picture. Green Bay should be pissed off after getting manhandled last Monday night and take it out on Carolina. LT gets his groove back at home and San Diego runs over the Falcons.

Here are 10 tips for victory on Sunday's game Jon, take note-

1. New Orleans pass defense is terrible. Keep Antonio Bryant at split end and work Galloway into the slot position. Galloway kills the Saints. A three wide set with Bryant, Galloway and Clayton would be nice to see.

2. Stretch the field. Jesus man, some good things can happen when you actually throw the ball more than 4 yards down the field. Simply review some tape of last weeks game. Lets see about 8 shots down the field of over 20 yards this week would be good. Enough of the 4 yard slant patterns. Those worked with Jerry Rice, but we don't have a Jerry Rice on the roster.

3. Dunn/Williams around the corner. Am I the only one who sees that we have some of our best rushing plays when our running backs go outside of the tackles? Why do you insist on running between the guards?

4. Jerramy Stevens. Jon, this guy is 6'7". When we get into the redzone, this guy is a nightmare for defenses to cover. The Saints linebackers are smaller, Stevens needs to be a major target. In know Alex Smith is going to play, so line up in a two TE situation and create lots of problems for the Saints D.

5. Pass rush. There has got to be some pressure on Drew Brees, who has passed for nearly 4,000 yards already. Gaines Adams, Jimmy Wilkerson, Kevin Carter, Greg White and others need to help Drew taste alot of turf at RayJay.

6. Have a heart to heart with Trueblood. Jon, I love this guy's intensity, but he's been fined by the league 4 times already this season. He has also caused some serious personal foul penalties late in key games this year. Intensity is one thing, but being flagged for stupid penalties is something else...........just stupid.

7. Run some no huddle offense. When the Bucs have tried this during the season, it's been very successful, we did we abandon it?

8. Rotate Ronde to nickle coverage and start Talib. Yeah, yeah, I know Ronde Barber who was the NFC defensive player of the week last week, but he's lost a step or two. He's not the player he was in 2002 and many times this season I've watched as he was out of position or simply slipped and was torched by an opposing wideout. Ronde, I love you and appreciate everything you've done while with the Bucs but after this season, you might think about seeing if Tiki can find you a gig on the Today show.

9. Contain. Contain. Contain. Reggie Bush is going to be playing Sunday, so he'll be getting alot of checkdown and screen passes. The defense MUST stay home. This guy seems to kill us everytime we play. Bush also returns punts. Special teams players MUST STAY IN THEIR LANES!

10. Score touchdowns not kick field goals. For the love of God, please, these 6-7 minute drives where you fail to score a touchdown and settle for the field goal come back to bite us in the ass nearly each and every week. It would be nice to see the Bucs put 14 on the board first on Sunday and let the defense take care of business instead of having to battle from behind.

I have faith in you Jon. Garcia, Brooks, Barber and Carter realize that this might be their last chance to advance into the playoffs and grab ahold of the brass ring. They also know that they have a chance to make history as the first home team of the Super Bowl host city to actually play in the game. We are on the cusp of something special. There is an aura over the Bay area this season. First it was the Rays, and I can sense it's now the Bucs. Of course my special feeling might just be that I have gas, but I believe. So take care of business Sunday and smack the Saints right in the mouth. Make a statement. And make sure you score 27 or more points, regular readers know that is the key to a Bucs victory. I'm running low on Nitro pills Jon, can we put this game away early this week?

Bucs 31 Saints 27
Packers 30 Panthers 20
Chargers 37 Falcons 16

A first round bye is right around the corner, just take care of business Bucs!

Benson, players should dump on your cars

2. Off-the-field note of the week: A crazy story from last week, according to a report by profootballtalk.com. The popular NFL news site reported that two or more Saints players vandalized some vehicles from owner Tom Benson's mini-fleet of new cars in the Saints employees parking lot last weekend. A little background: Each year Benson brings a few new cars from his dealerships and parks them in the secured lot at the team's training complex in hopes of selling a few to his employees. Apparently some Saints employees don't appreciate the sales pitch. According to the report, when the team arrived at the Saints facility on Saturday to continue preparations for the Packers game, "more than one of the cars was coated in a certain byproduct of the human digestive system." Profootballtalk.com has never been afraid to report unsubstantiated rumors and innuendo, but this one, according to multiple team sources, is on the mark. File this one under "Strange but true." Speaking of profootballtalk.com, Saints cornerback Jason David denied a report by the site intimating that he performed the gang-related "crip walk" dance after his two interceptions against Green Bay. David said the dance was something he's done since his days as youth and is not gang-related. He added that he has not heard from the NFL about the situation either. The league reportedly has issued an edict to crack down on gang-related displays in games this season.

The fans of the Saints should organize a massive dump all over the various dealerships in the Louisiana area owned by Mr Benson. He wanted to move your franchise out of your city, and most likely will continue to do the same. Welcome to Tampa, get your ass whipped and get a high draft choice next year.

Oprah, Dr. Phil, have morphed into ESPN

ESPN.com ran a major story online today around the 1 year anniversary of Sean Taylors' death. Now, while I thought Sean Taylor was one of the dirtiest players in the game, in 2005, I watched him spit on Mike Pittman at RayJay during the playoff game, but since he was murdered, the media has ascended him to Saint status. Why? 2004 DUI arrest, 2005, felony and misdemeanor battery charges.

Taylor's death was a tragic event, however, this guy surrounded himself around people which were not his friends. Have we not seen this story prior to Taylor or now as it evolves with Pacman Jones? The ESPN story online had selective interviews with some players. Derrick Brooks, Ben Roethlisberger, Fred Taylor, and Clinton Portis.

I guess ESPN is trying to do their best FOX news fair and balanced approach while asking players about if they are in fear while off the field.

Derrick Brooks- Brooks is an icon on and off the field in Tampa, a member of the board of trustees at FSU, not a regular strip club member and anyone wanting to come jack him up, better bring game, street thugs need not apply.

Fred Taylor- Hate to say it, a Florida Gator, but a durable back year in and year out. 11,000 yards 60+ td's. But no scandals. No drug arrests. No arrests period.

Ben Roethlisberger- He commented to ESPN that he is more guarded now after Taylors' death. Yeah, Big Ben, you are really tucking in your risk now. You nearly died in 2006 after the motorcycle accident which nearly killed you.

Clinton Portis- This dude is whacked. He follows in the line of Washington Crackheads running backs right behind John Riggins. The fact ESPN interviewed him for this tissue tearing story is surprising. Portis is a wingnut. Plain and simple. Portis has been vocal about supporting dogfighting. He shows up in weekly pressers dressed up in outfits such as, Coach Janky Spanky, and Sheriff Gonnagetcha, each week it's another character, but it's alright to overlook. Never see any of his pressers on FOX pre-game do ya?
In 2004, when the Crackheads signed him from Denver, he offered to pay 40,000.00 for the jersey number 26 from another Crackhead player at the start of camp. Ifeanyi Ohalete was the player which held the number in camp and after Ohalete was cut and only was paid a portion of the 40,000.00 for the jersey number, Portis wanted to box Ohalete for the balance of what he was owed.

Interesting NFL security idea- The Bucs just signed a Running Back, Noah Herron to the active roster. While he was on the active roster in Green Bay, when someone broke into his home, he realized he was threatened, unscrewed a bedpost from his bed, (didn't call the Homies, didn't get the Gloch) and he beat the intruder with the bedpost. Sent the intruder to the hospital and is now on the Bucs roster.
How about NFL players exercising some common sense? How about a driver? How about some security? Mike Alstott shows up at Ricky T's with a driver. Where is the support you were told would happen when you signed with your agent? These mega agents are signing players and getting their 8% and who cares after that. Agents- AKA Lawyers-AKA Morgan and Morgan- if these agents can sign them in major markets and then if they get in trouble, they can make a bunch of money to get them out of trouble.

Maggots. Lawyers are maggots. The majority of everyone in Congress are lawyers. And we wonder why more and more laws get passed each and every year.

7-3 but playoffs look questionable

Why is it every Bucs game comes down to the final two minutes? Today was no different. A 6 point lead with just under two minutes. What the hell is wrong with scoring a touchdown instead of kicking a field goal? Can someone answer me that? Gruden is an offensive genius so why cant we score a goddamned touchdown?

Once again, the Bucs hung their hat on the defense. Next week we travel to the Motor City and play the Motor City Bailout Lions. We lost to the Lions last season and this team always seems to play down to the level of their opponent, one only needs to look at todays game, so don't pencil in a W next week Bucs fans. I would not be surprised to see the Bucs deliver the first win of the season to the Lions. The Bucs should have won 30-13 today but continued to leave the Vikings in the game, right up until the very end.

We're now into the 11th week of the NFL season and I've got to address advertising.

Coors- Just STOP! This is the second year you have manufactured faux NFL coach pressers for your advertisements. The idea sucked last year, and it sucks even more this year.

Verizon- I'd be freaked out personally with the supposed network which is following members around.

AT&T- STOP ADVERTISING. I'm a customer, however, this Beeeeeeeeeeeepppp, campaign you have going on, is disgusting. Hi, I'm so and so but so and so didn't get the message because there is no service here in Slovakia. Today, there was an actual advertisement for ATT which portrayed people blowing up. Stellar.

State Farm- How much did you pay Adrian Peterson to endorse your company? You have bought alot of commercials right around the start of 1:00 eastern games with that annoying jingle, I'm feeling kinda Sunday, happy go funday. Why don't you simply focus more on insurance
State Farm has screwed those of us here in Florida. Hey State Farm, screw you for pulling out of Florida and leaving hundreds without insurance after you sucked up their premiums for years.

Manning brothers- Is there a product out there Peyton Manning won't endorse? Now Eli Manning is hawking citizens watches.

Direct TV- I dished your service last year. Stop already with the repeated commercials showing Chevy Chase.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain........

The man behind the curtain would be Henry Paulson who is selling out this Nation in the worst way imaginable, taking care of his Wall Street buds. And on Monday, the House starts meetings about bailing out the little 3 auto makers.
Last evening, TBS had a showing of the Wizard of Oz, which I watched for the 137th time in my life. Gimmie a break, there were no sports on, and as I watched the Wicked Witch of the West and her dispatching the flying monkeys, I couldn't help but think about the symbolic nature of what is going to happen January 21st, 2009. I'll get you my pretty, and your little dog too. Look at the two images, Ms Pelosi does not want to help you and absent of the wart on the chin and some green tint, they are interchangeable. A few other members of Congress could fill in and complete the cast.
The Cowardly lion- Barney Frank. Lisping his way after telling America we needed this bailout package and now all of a sudden is outraged. You're not as outraged as I am Barney.
The Tin Man- Chris Dodd. Mr. Countrywide. Mr. Dodd, you are a maggot. No other explanation.
The Scarecrow- Harry Reid. A tepid semblance of a leader, seemingly always waiting to see what Ms. Pelosi will say before issuing a statement.
The Wicked Witch of the West was destroyed by having water thrown on her, "I'm melting............." Lets throw some of the water recycled in the space station on her, the recycled urine. I'll pony up and pee in a bottle first thing in the morning.

Media lovefest, one more time

Time Magazine is now morphing the photo of The Messiah into a 1930's picture of FDR. The left of this Nation can't wait to take control of every aspect of life in the coming months. Get ready America. We are getting screwed as of January 21st, 2009. Hold on to your wallets.

Urine, a new idea for the drinking fountains in Congress

Astronauts board space shuttle for Florida launch
Fri Nov 14, 2008 5:17pm EST

CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida (Reuters) - Space shuttle Endeavour's seven astronauts climbed aboard their spaceship on Friday for the start of a 15-day mission to remodel the International Space Station for an expanded crew.
Liftoff was scheduled for 7:55 p.m. EST/0055 GMT on Saturday from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
NASA plans to double the size of the space station crew from three members to six next year. The shuttle carries two new sleeping compartments and a water recycling system that will enable the crew to purify urine and other wastewater for drinking.
"We did blind taste tests of the water," said NASA's Bob Bagdigian, the system's lead engineer. "Nobody had any strong objections. Other than a faint taste of iodine, it is just as refreshing as any other kind of water."
"I've got some in my fridge," he added. "It tastes fine to me."
Delivery of the $250 million wastewater recycling gear is among the primary goals of NASA's 124th shuttle mission. Meteorologists predicted a 70 percent chance the weather would be suitable for launch.
If the shuttle lifts off on time, it would arrive at the space station on Sunday. Astronauts will then spend 11 to 12 days making home improvements.
In addition to the sleep chambers and the water recycler, Endeavour carries the station's first refrigerator, new exercise gear, and perhaps most important for a growing crew -- a second toilet.
"With six people you really do need to have a two-bathroom house. It's a lot more convenient and a lot more efficient," said Endeavour astronaut Sandra Magnus, who will take over as a space station flight engineer from Greg Chamitoff.
Chamitoff has been aboard the outpost since the last shuttle flight in June.
SHUTTLE SUPPLIES DRYING UP
Reusing water will become essential once NASA retires its space shuttles, which produce water as a byproduct of their electrical systems. Rather than dumping the water overboard, NASA has been transferring it to the space station.
But the shuttle's days are numbered. Only 10 flights remain, including a final servicing call to the Hubble Space Telescope. NASA is preparing to end the program in 2010, after which Russian Soyuz spacecraft will be the only way to ferry crew to the space station.
"We can't be delivering water all the time for six crew," said space station flight director Ron Spencer. "Recycling is a must."
NASA expects to process about six gallons (23 liters) of water per day with the new device. The goal is to recover about 92 percent of the water from the crew's urine and moisture in the air.
The wastewater is processed using an extensive series of purification techniques, including distillation -- which is somewhat tricky in microgravity -- filtration, oxidation and ionization.
The final step is the addition of iodine to control microbial growth, Bagdigian said.
The device is intended to process a full day's worth of wastewater in less than 24 hours.
"Today's drinking water was yesterday's waste," Bagdigian said.

I think that is time to implement this reclamation project here on earth as well. The economy is in the tank, Congressional democrats are spending money like a drunken sailor. Since we as a Nation will need to curtail spending, in the near future, why not implement this urine to drinking water project in Congress? I would willingly piss in any collection tube to maintain that Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid has drinking water in Congress while they are taking this country more and more towards Socialism.

A bailout for GM, Ford and Chrysler discussion coming in the House this coming week, I'm filling up my urine bag to help out in these troubled times.

Generous Motors

Mismanagement, piss poor UAW agreements and failing to recognize market trends have brought Ford and General Motors to the brink of collapse. In this day and age of bailouts, the democratic led Congress will begin discussions this coming week on another multi billion dollar bailout.

GM has 500,000 former employees on the benefit rolls. I say it is time to let the Big Three fail. Let the unions finally realize that their hyper inflated payroll rates are not going to sustain major corporations. Let GM function under Chapter 11, re-organize debt and bust the union. We are not going to get that though with the democratic led Congress and the incoming President. Payback time for the vote turnout.

The only positive thing which will happen within a few years is a Jimmy Carter Stagflation event where interest rates were 20% and the economy was in a seriously bad situation. This is coming America, none of the major media outlets are reporting the serious downsides of the Federal printing press running overtime, but if you think the economy is bad now, just wait a few years, especially once The Messiah raises taxes. All these 20 somethings who voted for The Messiah, never lived through the Carter days. Too bad Youtube, Facebook and Myspace didn't exisit in those days.

Get ready America to grab yourself up by the bootstraps even more than you have in the past year. Things are going to get rough. 2009 is going to be terrible. Get ready, take care of your own.

ABC LOVES Tim Geithner to manage OUR money

Below, is a portion of a linked story regarding Tim Geithner who is in the running for an appointment as Secretary of the Treasury Secretary. This story oozes they love affair that ABC has with this man, another "anointed one" comparing him over and over to Obama. This man, a member of the CFR, decided to let Lehman Brothers fail but decided to rescue Bear Strearns and AIG. Why? Bailing out some Wall Street buddies? Are we going to get a de-facto extension of Henry Paulson, picking and choosing who of his Wall Street friends he'll help out at taxpayer expense? This pattern is sick America. SICK SICK SICK. And the sick reality of the election of the Messiah is that the vast majority of those who voted for change, don't pay taxes or understand how government works.

Treasury Secretary Short List: Tim Geithner
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York President's Life Mirrors Obama's
By CHARLES HERMAN ABC NEWS Business Unit
Nov. 7, 2008

Examine the life story of Tim Geithner, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and you may think he and President-elect Barack Obama are brothers, separated at birth.
That similarity could be the tipping point that gets Geithner the nomination as the next treasury secretary and that leads the nation through the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression
While few people on Main Street have heard his name, all of Wall Street knows it well. He is the man who has been a principle architect of various plans aimed at rescuing the nation's financial institutions.

From the collapse of Bear Stearns earlier this year to the lifeline to save insurance giant AIG to the aggressive steps taken by the Federal Reserve System in the last few weeks to thaw the frozen credit markets, Geithner has been at the center of the storm.
The parallels between Geithner's story and Obama's are uncanny. Both men are 47 years old and spent part of their youth living abroad. Both have succeeded despite unusual backgrounds. Both men have developed a cadre of powerful and well-connected people who provide advice and guidance. And both men like the occasional pickup basketball game.
Just as Obama lived for a time overseas, so did Geithner. His father worked for the U.S. Agency for International Development and then for the Ford Foundation where he held several positions throughout Asia. Geithner attended elementary school in New Delhi and high school at the International School in Bangkok.

Geithner attended Dartmouth, like his father and current Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, where he earned degrees in government and Asian Studies. While in school, he studied Chinese and spent two summers living in Beijing. He also met his future wife Carole Sonnefeld at Dartmouth. Later, Geithner received his master's degree in international economics at Johns Hopkins where he also studied Japanese.
Living abroad, his father Peter said, exposed Geithner to people from different backgrounds. "I have been most impressed by his ability to bring people with diverse interests together around a table to find some kind of effective solution or steps to be taken."
Upon graduating, he worked for former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger for three years before moving to the Treasury Department where he worked for nearly 15 years. Starting as an assistant attaché in Japan, he eventually came to work for Treasury Secretaries Robert Rubin and Lawrence Summers and played a key role in the government's response to the Asian financial crisis in the late 1990s.
After a brief stint at the International Monetary Fund, Geithner was selected in 2003 to lead the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. That bank, one of 12 across the country, is responsible for implementing the monetary policy established by the Federal Reserve in Washington, including maintaining the key Federal Funds interest rate that banks charge one another for overnight loans.

In this role, Geithner is the point person between Wall Street and the central bank. During the course of the recent financial crisis, he has earned the respect of hard-charging investment bank CEOs, even though he does not have a doctoral degree in economics or a master's in business administration and he has not worked on Wall Street.

Like Obama, he has risen even while bucking the normal route to success.

And like the president-elect, he has reportedly surrounded himself with a group of experienced advisers that include such economic luminaries as former Federal Reserve chairmen Alan Greenspan and Paul Volcker; former Treasury Secretaries Summers and Rubin; former New York Federal Reserve chief Gerald Corrigan; Merrill Lynch CEO John Thain; and well-respected financial leader and co-founder of private equity giant Blackstone Pete Peterson, with whom he meets on occasion over breakfast.

Peterson ran the search committee that chose Geithner to lead the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He said that during the vetting process, it became clear that beyond "unfailingly and unambiguously positive references," Geithner's colleagues and previous bosses felt he is "clear thinking and clear speaking in a crisis and not at all reticent to speak his views." Peterson added, "That is something important in a town like Washington."

"Tim would be terrific, cool-headed, experienced, and with kind of flexible mind needed to take the big steps required to deal with the current economic catastrophe," said Harvard professor Ken Rogoff who worked with Geithner at the IMF. "I think it is important also that the new administration not strangle the private sector, Tim is a centrist who would be sensitive to this issue."

Rescue me!

You remember the fear, at the end of September, the world was going to collapse. The credit market had frozen up, there was no lending going on. If the government didn't pass a 850 Billion dollar package to infuse the banks with the requested cash, the world markets would crash and burn, end of the world. Of course the public was told the bailout was only 700 billion but there was no reporting of the media during the election of all the tacked on pork from our good democratic public servants bringing home their dollars to ensure their re-election next cycle.

This economic problem was all because of George W Bush. Yeeeeeeeeaaaahh, something like that. The media didn't investigate anything prior to reporting what happened in September. There was nothing reported about Barney Franks association with his "friend" and his association with Freddie Mac. Chris Dodd and Countrywide.

The democrats said that after the money would be allocated to the TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Program) program, an advisory board would be appointed. There hasn't been any board created and money is being given away right and left. As of yesterday the Secretary Paulson reversed his intention of what the TARP program would do. We won't buy troubled assess ts, we'll just fund banks.
American Express, a credit card company, is now a commercial bank in order to get 3.5 billion dollars. Now there is the discussion of bailing out the Big Three auto makers, which is nothing more than a bailout for the UAW on the backs of the Nation.

It's time for American voters to be really pissed off. It is not going to change in the coming administration. You Obama voters believed you were getting a tax cut, that won't happen. 47% of you who voted for Obama don't pay taxes anyway. If we could simply hook up all the illegals, the folks who don't pay income tax, and convince them Obama has the right answer, we could make America such a better place. Well MSNBC will have you believe that, America doesn't like you MSNBC and that is why your viewership is in the tank.

Does everyone wish to be the next American Idol?

As I reflect on what happened during the past election, I understand now that the advent cable tv has made people feel a sense of urgency to get on tv. In the 1970's, the afternoon airways was filled with gameshows and the Merv Griffin show, where oddities such as pet tricks and Hollywood celebs would show up to discuss upcoming gigs. Nothing really new there. But then, Merv's motif morphed into Phil Donahue in the late 70's-early 80's. And daytime talk became about victimization. He "cared". Kleenex flew out of boxes in Donahue's audiences faster than the Federal Reserve is running off 100's on the printing press now for this "bailout". Daytime talk then splintered in the late 80's. Oprah Winfrey, who understood how an audience can further a career, and those like Jerry Springer who just went mob mentality with their shows in order to get ratings. Oprah steered herself towards the Hollywood set and after realizing her impact on markets, decided she would then endorse specific items, such as books in her book club, a mere mention of something she enjoyed or used sent sales skyrocketing. I applaud that, she created a empire from her show. That is what free market capitalism is all about.
Jerry Springer created a market as well, but to those folks who wanted so badly to have 10 minutes on tv and he appealed to the baseless portion of society. He had success, and many more mirror image shows popped up on cable. Then right around the time that lawyers were able to advertise on television, SHAZAM, here comes the Honorable Judge Wapner, the People's Court. And today there is Judge Judy, Judy Joe Brown, Judge Karen, and an endless list of people who can't wait to appear on the show to air their differences simply because they will be on television.
In the late 1990's, CBS created Survivor, the first "reality" show. Reality my ass. It's all scripted. And that show opened the door to all the shit which is on network and cable tv today. American Idol, Amazing Race, Biggest Loser, Top Chef, Bartender Wars, Ice Truck Drivers, Tow Truck Drivers, Deadliest Catch, Tattoo parlors, shows featuring the lives of Hulk Hogan, Ozzy Osbourne, Kim Kardasian, I could go on and on. I really could care less about these people or the shows, but alot of people are watching them. How many of the fellow US citizens that say they are so stressed now at work and with their families are spending time watching this crap?

So as the millennium rolls over and the technology for the internet expands, some dweeb 20 something decides he's going to create a "social site" called Myspace, soon after, Facebook is created. The creators of these sites make millions of dollars and people flock there by the tens of thousands. People can't wait to post pictures of themselves and friends. Post intimate information of themselves, pictures of them in compromising situations at times, disclose information about themselves they would never do if you had met them in person at a local bar. Why? Well, I heard of someone who was related to a cousin of a husband of a sister who posted something on Facebook and now his video is being shown on the Today show. Oh Really.........

I guess it's all about gratification. CNN, FOX, MSNBC, all the cable news shows are asking for people to send in their photos or videos of the latest disaster. As you can see from the story attached below, prominent people are caught up in this internet swirl as well. Go back a few weeks and look at TE Chris Cooley from the Washington Crackheads who was making a post to his blog and photographed his playbook while he was naked and there was a picture of the german helmet wearing turtle in his picture. Interesting he was having a very bad year, and going into this season was supposed to be on of the top 5 tightends in the NFL but dropped off the radar screen or mention until that event happened. He is still a douche bag in my opinion.

And then there was today. All the stories about Sarah Palin and the unnamed McCain sources saying Sarah Palin didn't know Africa was a continent, met staffers in a robe, threw temper tantrums, you remember hearing all these stories last week. It was all bullshit from someone on youtube, a man by the name of Dan Miruish. Phony stories, and he was a fellow at the Harding Institute of Freedom and Democracy. It doesn't even exist. But did one reporter ever go and research it? NO. Carl Cameron? NO. Andrea Mitchell? NO. Bill O'Reilly? NO. Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck? Nope.

FACEBOOK FOLLIES GET PLAYER IN HOT WATER
Posted by Mike Florio on November 13, 2008, 4:14 p.m. EST
We’ve caught wind of the fact that a photo of an NFL player in the immediate vicinity of a huge bong on a glass table with lines of a white powdery substance recently made its way onto a Facebook page, temporarily.
As we hear it, once the player’s team found out about it, the picture was removed.
Per a league source, the Facebook account belongs to a family member of the player in question.
It’s unknown whether the league office is aware of the situation. Under the substance-abuse policy, a positive drug test isn’t the only thing that can get a player in trouble. A player can be added to the program based on behavior.
A couple of years ago, for example, then-Raiders receiver Randy Moss had to scramble to avoid being placed into the program after merely admitting to smoking marijuana “
every blue moon” during an interview with Bryant “Rick Romo” Gumbel.
We’ve seen the picture, but we’ve been asked not to post it. Ordinarily, we’d post it anyway, but we’re in a fairly decent mood this afternoon.

Veterans, I salute you today!

I had difficulty logging in to post earlier today, but I wanted to pass along my thanks to all of those fallen and current US veterans today. Your service has made this largest experiment in freedom in a representative Republic possible for the past 230 plus years. Thank you for your service, and for those of you still on the front lines today around the world and serving in our current wars, you are not forgotten either. Come home safe and sound. God bless.

Pinocchio and the Hobbit.

During today's fair and balanced Meet the Press, America got to watch an unabashed lovefest between Tom Brokaw and the "roundtable". The bottom photo is John Meacham, editor of the "unbiased" Newsweek magazine. I wished there had been a better side shot of Mr. Meacham. Very concerned look here in this photo. But a side view of this left leaning freak, would show a nose so large that Pinocchio would be jealous.
The top photo is of the "esteemed" leftwing Presidential historian, Doris Kearns Goodwin. She never met a democrat she didn't embrace or write about. The Messiah now is a cross between FDR and LBJ in her mind prior to getting into office. The Messiah is, BHO? Ooops, cant mention his middle name. What has happened to Doris? Her physical appearance looks like she has morphed into a hobbit-like character from a Harry Potter novel. Good god Doris, you are almost 1 year older than my mother, you were born January 4th, 1943, and you look like hell. Your eyes are sunken, hairline receding, and your vernacular on Sunday was as pro Socialist as it ever was. Don't pass your FDR bullshit off on me sister. 1930-1945, you'll be hard pressed to revise history in your favor when it comes to me . There are a few of us out here who understand American history. Doris, before you want to wrap up this Nation in a full government blanket to protect us peons from ourselves, you couldn't hold a candle to my mother. My mother could have been the CEO of any auto corporation, running it with plain and simple common sense. Someone who understands fiscal responsibility. And someone who has a proven track record of creating a business and knows every aspect of doing so.
I think we should have a one on one faceoff. Doris Goodwin, who has done nothing, who has created no jobs, versus, my mother. (she'll be happy to see this in the morning) who created jobs and managed a very successful business.
Obama is going to mandate "volunteer" service for the Nation. Come on down to FGCU Doris and have a debate. My mother will kick your ass hobbit. And when my mother is done schooling you, I'll jump in to talk about those pesky FDR years.

If the World gets it. Why can't America?

The night we waved goodbye to America... our last best hope on Earth

Add to My Stories
Anyone would think we had just elected a hip, skinny and youthful replacement for God, with a plan to modernise Heaven and Hell – or that at the very least John Lennon had come back from the dead.
The swooning frenzy over the choice of Barack Obama as President of the United States must be one of the most absurd waves of self-deception and swirling fantasy ever to sweep through an advanced civilisation. At least Mandela-worship – its nearest equivalent – is focused on a man who actually did something.
I really don’t see how the Obama devotees can ever in future mock the Moonies, the Scientologists or people who claim to have been abducted in flying saucers. This is a cult like the one which grew up around Princess Diana, bereft of reason and hostile to facts.

The night America changed: Barack and Michelle Obama in Chicago
It already has all the signs of such a thing. The newspapers which recorded Obama’s victory have become valuable relics. You may buy Obama picture books and Obama calendars and if there isn’t yet a children’s picture version of his story, there soon will be.
Proper books, recording his sordid associates, his cowardly voting record, his astonishingly militant commitment to unrestricted abortion and his blundering trip to Africa, are little-read and hard to find.
If you can believe that this undistinguished and conventionally Left-wing machine politician is a sort of secular saviour, then you can believe anything. He plainly doesn’t believe it himself. His cliche-stuffed, PC clunker of an acceptance speech suffered badly from nerves. It was what you would expect from someone who knew he’d promised too much and that from now on the easy bit was over.
He needn’t worry too much. From now on, the rough boys and girls of America’s Democratic Party apparatus, many recycled from Bill Clinton’s stained and crumpled entourage, will crowd round him, to collect the rich spoils of his victory and also tell him what to do, which is what he is used to.

Just look at his sermon by the shores of Lake Michigan. He really did talk about a ‘new dawn’, and a ‘timeless creed’ (which was ‘yes, we can’). He proclaimed that ‘change has come’. He revealed that, despite having edited the Harvard Law Review, he doesn’t know what ‘enormity’ means. He reached depths of oratorical drivel never even plumbed by our own Mr Blair, burbling about putting our hands on the arc of history (or was it the ark of history?) and bending it once more toward the hope of a better day (Don’t try this at home).
I am not making this up. No wonder that awful old hack Jesse Jackson sobbed as he watched. How he must wish he, too, could get away with this sort of stuff.
And it was interesting how the President-elect failed to lift his admiring audience by repeated – but rather hesitant – invocations of the brainless slogan he was forced by his minders to adopt against his will – ‘Yes, we can’. They were supposed to thunder ‘Yes, we can!’ back at him, but they just wouldn’t join in. No wonder. Yes we can what exactly? Go home and keep a close eye on the tax rate, is my advice. He’d have been better off bursting into ‘I’d like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony’ which contains roughly the same message and might have attracted some valuable commercial sponsorship.
Perhaps, being a Chicago crowd, they knew some of the things that 52.5 per cent of America prefers not to know. They know Obama is the obedient servant of one of the most squalid and unshakeable political machines in America. They know that one of his alarmingly close associates, a state-subsidised slum landlord called Tony Rezko, has been convicted on fraud and corruption charges.
They also know the US is just as segregated as it was before Martin Luther King – in schools, streets, neighbourhoods, holidays, even in its TV-watching habits and its choice of fast-food joint. The difference is that it is now done by unspoken agreement rather than by law.
If Mr Obama’s election had threatened any of that, his feel-good white supporters would have scuttled off and voted for John McCain, or practically anyone. But it doesn’t. Mr Obama, thanks mainly to the now-departed grandmother he alternately praised as a saint and denounced as a racial bigot, has the huge advantages of an expensive private education. He did not have to grow up in the badlands of useless schools, shattered families and gangs which are the lot of so many young black men of his generation.
If the nonsensical claims made for this election were true, then every positive discrimination programme aimed at helping black people into jobs they otherwise wouldn’t get should be abandoned forthwith. Nothing of the kind will happen. On the contrary, there will probably be more of them.
And if those who voted for Obama were all proving their anti-racist nobility, that presumably means that those many millions who didn’t vote for him were proving themselves to be hopeless bigots. This is obviously untrue.

Yes we can what?: Barack Obama ran on the ticket of change
I was in Washington DC the night of the election. America’s beautiful capital has a sad secret. It is perhaps the most racially divided city in the world, with 15th Street – which runs due north from the White House – the unofficial frontier between black and white. But, like so much of America, it also now has a new division, and one which is in many ways much more important. I had attended an election-night party in a smart and liberal white area, but was staying the night less than a mile away on the edge of a suburb where Spanish is spoken as much as English, plus a smattering of tongues from such places as Ethiopia, Somalia and Afghanistan.
As I walked, I crossed another of Washington’s secret frontiers. There had been a few white people blowing car horns and shouting, as the result became clear. But among the Mexicans, Salvadorans and the other Third World nationalities, there was something like ecstasy.

Debate with Peter Hitchens
They grasped the real significance of this moment. They knew it meant that America had finally switched sides in a global cultural war. Forget the Cold War, or even the Iraq War. The United States, having for the most part a deeply conservative people, had until now just about stood out against many of the mistakes which have ruined so much of the rest of the world.
Suspicious of welfare addiction, feeble justice and high taxes, totally committed to preserving its own national sovereignty, unabashedly Christian in a world part secular and part Muslim, suspicious of the Great Global Warming panic, it was unique.
These strengths had been fading for some time, mainly due to poorly controlled mass immigration and to the march of political correctness. They had also been weakened by the failure of America’s conservative party – the Republicans – to fight on the cultural and moral fronts.
They preferred to posture on the world stage. Scared of confronting Left-wing teachers and sexual revolutionaries at home, they could order soldiers to be brave on their behalf in far-off deserts. And now the US, like Britain before it, has begun the long slow descent into the Third World. How sad. Where now is our last best hope on Earth?

Big Bang Theory part deux.

Why is it this Nation must rely on foreign journalists to actually report the news? Below is a story from the Financial Times in England. Are you ready for this America? The President using Executive orders to force feed his agenda, all you 20 somethings who voted for change most likely don't even know what this term means. We are going to see a frenzy of legislation from Congress and Executive orders in the first weeks of this new administration that has never been seen in this Nation's history. Of course it will be spoon fed for the mass public who watches the national nightly news or reads USA Today, as actions which need to taken to secure jobs, the economic markets, and provide security for the masses. But the public won't bother to read the language of this legislation, they will be comfortable to have Brian Williams report to them about what is about to happen. Ted Kennedy has been working on a healthcare package for the past month, meeting with lobbyists and formulating a bill which will be introduced right after the coronation of the Messiah. The Socialist party of America has also been working on taking over your 401k and retirement programs. You folks have to know the government will take much better care of your retirement packages than you can. Fork it over folks. They've done such a bang-up job with Social Security huh? Now, you will fund Social Security with your 401k when the Feds take it over. But, no need to worry, you'll get 3% a year interest while your money is backed by US bonds and a 600.00 bonus. WOW! Aint that great? What a country.

William Ayers was right, a revolution starts with the youth. This started 20 years ago when T-ball games would no longer keep score in order to make sure the players didn't have self-esteem issues. It started with the flippant diagnosing of Ridalin to any child which acted out in class. Acting out? Don't punish, medicate. The Socialist party of this Nation has infiltrated the school system. It won't be but a month or so after the coronation of the Messiah, that there will be a requirement that all public school classrooms are required to have a photo of the Messiah hanging prominently. This wont be reported by Brian Williams or Katie Couric, on the nightly news, they will be all consumed about hard hitting news like what sort of dog the Messiah will select as the official National pet. No doubt he will select a dog. Dogs are socialist in nature. Labs, Retrievers, Sheppard's. Dogs are basically, feed me and I'll love you. Cats require you to earn their trust. There will not be a cat in the Messiah's family.

Get ready America, we have been set up for a blindside January 21st, 2009.

Obama set to push ‘big bang’ reform package
By Edward Luce in ‘Washington
Published: November 9 2008 19:17 Last updated: November 9 2008 19:17

US President-elect Barack Obama intends to push a comprehensive programme of social and economic reform beyond an immediate emergency stimulus package, Rahm Emanuel, the next White House chief of staff, indicated on Sunday.
Mr Emanuel brushed aside concerns that an Obama administration would risk taking on too much when it takes office in January. He said Mr Obama saw the financial meltdown as an historic opportunity to deliver the large-scale investments that Democrats had promised for years.
Tackling the meltdown would not entail delays in plans for far-reaching energy, healthcare and education reforms when all three were also in crisis, he said. “These are crises you can no longer afford to postpone [addressing].”
Mr Emanuel, Mr Obama’s first appointment after his emphatic victory over John McCain last week, added that Mr Obama would push hard during the 11-week transition before he is inaugurated for early assistance to the collapsing US car industry, which he described as “an essential part of our economy”.
His comments increased pressure on George W. Bush to approve a widely-touted $25bn emergency package for Detroit – possibly as part of a second emergency stimulus package to stave off further decline in the rapidly deteriorating US economy.
Mr Obama will meet Mr Bush on Monday and is likely to seek the outgoing president’s reassurance that he would not veto any stimulus package that could be passed as soon as next week when Congress meets for a “lame duck” session.
Sunday’s comments also reinforce the impression that Mr Obama’s transition economic advisory board – which includes leading lights of the Clinton era, such as Lawrence Summers and Robert Rubin – is tilting heavily towards a “big bang” approach that would combine a short-term stimulus with large public investments to raise the longer-term US growth rate.
In a radio address to the nation on Saturday, Mr Obama emphasised the urgency both of passing a fiscal stimulus package, which could include a middle-class tax cut, and of moving swiftly ahead on long-term public investments.
“We can’t afford to wait on moving forward on the key priorities that I identified during the campaign, including clean energy, healthcare, education and tax relief for middle-class families,” said Mr Obama. “We also need a rescue plan for the middle class that invests in immediate efforts to create jobs and provides relief to families watching their paychecks shrink and their life savings disappear.”
Economists have estimated the US budget deficit could more than double next year to almost $1,000bn, raising concerns about whether Mr Obama could deliver on expensive campaign promises including $150bn in investments in alternative energy over the next decade and a $60bn-$110bn plan to provide universal health insurance for Americans.
In contrast to 1992, when Mr Clinton postponed longer-term investments in favour of urgent budget deficit reduction, advisers to Mr Obama, including Mr Summers, who is tipped by some as his first Treasury secretary, are tilting towards investments. They emphasise that Mr Obama will stick to a medium-term goal of restoring fiscal discipline.

Average folks doing extrodinary things

Born: April 20, 1830 at Drumbarty, Ireland
Entered Service in the US Army from Sumner, IL
Earned The Medal of Honor During the Civil War For heroism May 22, 1863 & March 14, 1864 at Vicksburg, MS & Ft DeRussey, LADied: September 03, 1911 at the age of 81
The Vicksburg campaign was waged from March 29 to July 4, 1863. It included battles in west-central Mississippi at Port Gibson, Raymond, Jackson, Champion Hill, Big Black River and numerous smaller battle fields. On the morning of May 22, General Grant launched what he hoped would be a crushing assault against Vicksburg. In the fighting that followed, the Union Infantry was repulsed and thrown back along a three-mile front. The Union Army suffered more than 3,000 casualties, and 97 Union soldiers earned Medals of Honor (the second largest single-day total in history.) First Lieutenant Menomen O'Donnell voluntarily joined the color guard in the assault on the enemy's works when he saw indications of wavering and caused the colors of his regiment to be planted on the parapet. He also voluntarily placed himself in the ranks of an assaulting column (being then on staff duty) and rode with it into the enemy's works, being the only mounted officer present. Lieutenant O'Donnell was wounded twice in this battle. Following the failed assault on May 22, a forty-seven day siege was laid against the city, which finally surrendered to Union forces on July 4.

This is my blood, standing up when he was called for service for his Nation, and was awarded the highest award in the military. Menomen wouldn't be going along with all the socialistic crap facing us now, thats for sure. He lived for 81 years during the start of the 20th century. Thats one tough son of a bitch. No Medicare, no Viagra, no Lipitor, no Zocor, no Ambien, wounded twice in battle during the Civil War and he never asked the government for anything.

Menomen is my hero and has been since I was a teenager. He is the epitome of the people which formed his Nation and their contributions should never be forgotten.

Buddy can you spare a di.........50 million?

I could imagine the 47 million people who dont pay takes pushing their way up to the government tit to feed off it, but now here we have General Motors, Ford and Chrysler bellying up to the bar for 50 billion dollars, crying that they will go bankrupt if they dont get money from the government.
Let's see, if GM actually had products that people wanted to buy, they might be able to sell off some of their product line. Buick. Paying Tiger Woods 50 million dollars to endorse Buick. Think he actually drives one? Why not consolidate GMC and Chevy trucks, they are basically one in the same. GM could shrink and sell off everything but Chevy, Saturn and Cadillac, and be just fine.
Ford loaded up their lineup towards a heavy end on the trucks and SUV's and took a tank when gas prices skyrocketed this summer. They could sell Volvo.
Chrysler. You could sell Jeep.
Now. I don't fully blame the issues plaguing the auto makers squarely on their shoulders, but they could have done more over the past few years. The credit crisis has squeezed lending and even though the banks have received an injection of cash, they are hording the cash and not lending any money. So the bailout inflated banks coffers, allowed some banks to buyout other ones and even banks which didn't want any money, were forced to take it from the Fed. (ie, Wells Fargo and several other smaller institutions) And as a subsequent result the auto makers are no longer getting funding for cars for individuals they were 24 months ago with the cap on lending. So yes, at one aspect, the auto makers are suffering from the greedy investment bankers who bundled mortgages and lent money, 40.00 for every 1.00 in collateral while they all made outrageous profits. But overtime the auto makers also got into the act not to be outdone by the banks and created their own financial divisions and financed and leased vehicles to virtually anyone. The prosperous times would last forever. Everyone got drunk. And now everyone has the hangover and they are looking for the remedy. Does 50 billion cure a hangover?
The Big Three auto makers opposed the Bush Administration's recommendations for new CAFE standards two years ago, thinking everyone in the country would be driving a virtual Abrhams tank by 2013, and screw gas mileage. And now, because of the lack of longterm vision of these companies, the Nation must bail them out as well? Are these CEO's feet not held to the fire?
If these companies have to file bankruptcy (which I feel is unlikely, they'll get their money) where was the UAW? Where were the shareholders? Where were the dealers? Where was the leadership in these mega corporations? GM trading around 5.00 a share, Ford hovering around 2.00. I didn't agree with the bank bailout and I don't agree with this being part of that money. The government has now staked their claim of ownership in the largest financial institutions of this country, do we now wish to socialize our auto companies as well?
GM, Ford, and Chrysler pay millions to people to forecast the future and as oil prices rose in the 1st quarter of 2007, these corporations had to know what was coming. They knew plain and simple. What this 50 billion dollar bailout is about, is bridging the gap from now until 2010 when the UAW will assume the cost of workers healthcare and retirement packages. So the taxpayers will foot the bill for the unions, ain't this great America?
Rest assured, The Messiah has assembled a crack team of economic advisors, such as Gov. Jennifer Grandholm from Michigan. She knows all about how to solve a crisis. Raise taxes. Michigan had been in a recession for three years before the rest of the country caught up.
Thank you once again you 93% of single mothers and 77% of children under 28 who voted The Messiah into office. Enjoy your mandatory "volunteer" service for the nation as decree from the Messiah.
How many days after the inauguration will the National Education Association require mandatory pictures of Obama in all classrooms of public schools? Gotta love those unbiased unions huh?

Serve it up America!

America Serves

"When you choose to serve -- whether it's your nation, your community or simply your neighborhood -- you are connected to that fundamental American ideal that we want life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness not just for ourselves, but for all Americans. That's why it's called the American dream."The Obama Administration will call on Americans to serve in order to meet the nation's challenges. President-Elect Obama will expand national service programs like AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and will create a new Classroom Corps to help teachers in underserved schools, as well as a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps. Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community a plan to require 50 hours service in college every year. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start. This is right from the change.gov website. The official site of the Messiah elect. Then of course there is the 250-500,000 "volunteers he wishes to recruit for the civilian security force. You can search that on Youtube and watch it straight from his mouth. Security force? Whats the National Guard? And the Clean Energy Corps, I like this one, they will be sending people your place of business and homes to make sure you are complying with energy efficiency. Whats this! you have a filament lightbulb. Straight to the Gulag.

The November 5th Illinois pick three number lottery number was 6-6-6, this is not a internet rumor, here is the link, http://www.illinoislottery.com/numbers.asp

I urge people to research on Google, the Fabian society and members which support their ideas in the current administration. This is an association Michelle Obama supports and has written about.

This next week, on November 15th, President Elect Messiah will attend what has been called the largest economic event since World War II, and so aptly named, Bretton Woods II. There are stories in foreign newspapers that nations wish to denounce using the US dollar as a benchmark and return to an international gold standard. Interestingly enough, the day after the US election, Russia moved missiles towards Poland, Putin announced his desire to become President again, the KGB is operative again, Chavez applauded America for electing Obama and then quickly seized publicly owned gold mines and took control of them in the name of the government and announced a joint mining venture with Russia.

Here's a story about next week's meeting http://www.usnews.com/articles/news/2008/10/23/global-economic-crisis-what-the-november-15-summit-is-really-about.html
During the election cycle, The Messiah's largest contributors were some of the major hedge fund managers on Wall Street. While he would rail away about how much money "big oil" would make, Exxon Mobil made 14.8 billion last quarter, a record gross profit, but they also paid 11.3 billion in taxes, also a record amount. Where is the Marxist president elect railing about the unethical profits of Wall Street? Railing about how hedge funds need more regulation? After all, they made far more percentage wise than Exxon Mobil. We cant talk too much about specifics on Wall Street, after all Jamie Dimond and others are good close friends and gave alot of cash to the campaign. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are clearing the houses of Congress of the moderate Democrats. Lieberman will be stripped of his Chairman position on Homeland Security. Robert Byrd, an old Bluedog democrat stepped down today. Coincidence. Yeah, he wants to spend more time with his dog Billy. Votes are disappearing for Sen. Coleman in Minnesota while the recount is being overseen by an ACORN representative.
If the Messiah sides with other nations' during this Bretton Woods II meeting, and the United States cedes more influence in the World, or even leans towards creating a one world currency as many nations are wanting to do, there will be a total collapse of the US dollar, creating hyperinflation in a very short period. I don't expect him to tip his hand before he enters office, though many folks believe he is on the thrown currently, but we are going to be headed towards this and with a socialist led congress, emergency laws can be passed when hyperinflation kicks in "in order to preserve you way of life" When the dollar tanks, there will be a series of Executive Orders passed, and as I referenced before, the democrats were already looking at taking over 401k's prior to the election. Nationalization of banks underway. Nationalization of the auto industry underway. The government is printing money right and left with no regard for inflation, which will be biting the country in the ass within 18 months. Another stimulus on the way from the mouth of Pelosi
Folks need to read their history, I know they don't teach it in schools anymore, but perhaps a Google search on the Weimar Republic would be in order. I, as well as many of you, hopefully, supported McCain to maintain the system of checks and balances which were put in place by our Founding Fathers. 93% of single moms and 73 percent of those under 28 voted for The Messiah. During the campaign if I spoke out against The Messiah, I was considered a racist, but my great grandfather won the Congressional Medal of Honor twice while fighting for the Union Army. This Nation had better hunker down and get ready some of the most radical policies, and some of the most radical legislation that we have ever faced in our lifetimes. This Congress and The Messiah will come before the American public and tell you that everything they are going to do is for your benefit. Redistribution of wealth, mandatory service to the Nation, all in the name of the current economic crisis, forgo the Constitution in these critical times, we all need to work together for the good of the Nation. It is important that you do the research, that you spread the word, and that you understand American history. The vast majority of the American public have no idea what is getting ready to happen in the next few months. Democracy is not a spectator sport.

2 tickets-200.00 Beers for the girlfriend-37.00 Sex in the bathroom-priceless

Yeah, I understand the Bills lost at home to the Jets last Sunday, but this was a juicy little tidbit which was in the Buffalo Evening News yesterday. It seems like there are many folks which decide to head over the Orchard Park and have sex while the game is occurring. What pisses me off is that Jeramy scored more than Bills running back M. Lynch who is on my fantasy team and contributed to my loss this weekend.

The call came out early in the third quarter Sunday to investigate numerous complaints of a commotion in a ladies’ restroom across from Section 336 in Ralph Wilson Stadium. It didn’t take security officers long to figure out the cause of what police later called a “public disturbance” in the restroom. A woman, law enforcement officials said Monday, was having sex with her boyfriend in a bathroom stall. The couple was arrested, two of 37 people arrested at the stadium by Orchard Park police and Erie County sheriff’s deputies before, during and after Sunday’s Bills-Jets game. Police charged Alicia A. Venneman, 29, of Northville, in the southern Adirondacks, with disorderly conduct. They also charged a man whom police identified as her boyfriend, Jeramy H. Kemper, 31, of Mayfield, with tres- passing and resisting arrest. “This was inappropriate behavior in public,” Scott Berchtold, Bills vice president of communications, said Monday. “Our security staff reacted accordingly, and law enforcement officials were called in to handle the situation.” In November 1998, a couple was charged with public lewdness after being caught having sex in the upper-level stands during a Bills game. After being convicted in a nonjury trial, each of them was fined $500 and ordered to perform 100 hours of community service. Sunday, law enforcement officials logged more than the average number of arrests at a Bills game, making 37 arrests, 32 by Orchard Park police and five by the Erie County sheriffs. Authorities made 16 arrests at the San Diego game two weeks earlier, 39 at the Oakland game Sept. 21 and 28 at the Seattle game Sept. 7. http://www.buffalonews.com/cityregion/story/483432.html

Thank you so much America

I had faith in you. I held on to the belief that you would embrace the principals which the Founding Fathers of this Nation held so dear. I believed that you would come to the realization that the Constitution was one of the greatest documents ever written and not a document filled with negative rights. I figured that you would not embrace a candidate who believes and surrounds himself with people who support Marxist government principles. I was wrong.

I was wrong to underestimate the disastrous effects of our school systems ability to teach history. I was wrong to underestimate the number of Americans so willing to make themselves victims. I was wrong to underestimate the number of you willing and wanting to suck up to and feed off of the government tit, and if you can take money away from other people in order to do so, the better you feel.

Well America, you got your candidate of change. Just be careful what you wish for. This Nation will see the largest amount of legislation come out of this Congress you've ever seen in the first 100 days. Anyone in a business which involves a natural resource is under attack, free speech and the fairness doctrine will be passed before March, massive new gun laws if not an outright ban on all guns, if you own a small business, prepare for unionization, if you have a 401K get ready for the government to come and take it. Energy exploration? Pllllllllease. Tax cuts? HA! EVERYONE WILL pay higher taxes. I can just see it in February, where Obama comes to the US people and says how hard he's worked but he just has to raise taxes for the good of the Nation. As Woodrow Wilson did during his term, there will most likely be a hotline number for people to call and report on friends and neighbors who speak out about the Motherland to the Justice Department.

The government has destroyed the value of my business to the point where I can't give my boat away after investing over 100,000.00 in my boat. Now this leftwing government with their friends in the eco-terrorist movement will destroy every shred of commercial fishing left nationwide. Thank you all so much. Taxes will increase and as the economy deteriorates, the government will take more and more of your rights in the name of protecting you. As the Nation slumps further in the second year of the Obama presidency, there will be a call to hold a Constitutional Convention to revisit and adress the Bill of Rights to reshape it in how The Messiah, Pelosi and Reid wish it to look.

This is a dark period for America my friends. This is going to be a very difficult 4 years. Our lives in this Nation are going to change greatly. I really fear some of the repercussions of this election.
The last time a president raised taxes in a similar economic situation, Herbert Hoover sent us into the Great Depression. This country is reeling, and Obama's election will send more businesses overseas, and in my opinion will stifle any small business creation for a great period of time.

So there is no incentive in the next 4 years to make as much money as you can. National Marine Fisheries Service has squashed fishermen in the coming year, so I suppose we should simply set up there for our feeding at the government tit. Karen and I aren't going to college. No food stamps. We do qualify for AFDC, but I thought that government acronym stood for adults feeding dependent cats. We miss out there too.

I've had enough, and I'm about to shut down the blog this week because no one will be able to speak out against the Messiah after the anointing tonight without fearing retribution. While writing this last blog report tonight, I just saw a report that Jack Murtha has won re-election in Pennsylvania. Are you fucking kidding me? He called his constituents racists and rednecks. This asshole got re-elected? America has become a Nation of people wanting handouts instead of becoming successful on their own.

And isn't it interesting that prior to the election the democrats changed the ex-patriot laws, stating everyone has to pay 50% taxes if they wish to flee the oppressive government. Suck up, suck up, suck up to the government tit. So interesting that the black voters voted for someone who they thought was freeing them from oppression, but who is actually enslaving them once again. When you depend on the government for your independence, you are not free. God bless American small business owners.

How many riots are going to seen tonight? Philly fans rioted after the Phillies won the world series. God save this Nation. God bless this Nation. Transfer your wealth internationally, buy guns before the inauguration, and prepare yourself for the worst economic times you've ever seen.

God Bless Acorn for mobilizing the vote in Ohio. And God Bless the Messiah for showing me my misdirection in my ways, in trying to create a small business, when all this time I should have been taking care of everyone else who didn't work. Pardon me.

I can't stand it any more, the Messiah has won. Get ready America, suck up to the government tit, single moms, illegals, those of color who felt oppressed in South Florida.

I just cant wait to see the new America with the Messiah in control. It's going to be sunshine and lollipops for everyone. The Today show Wednesday morning will be an orgy of reporters gushing about how Obama will cure all the problems in our Nation. It is going to suck having to listen to the lapdog media tell us how the Messiah will cure all of our problems.

OPR- other people's revenue

OPR. Obama. Pelosi. Reid. Other People's Revenue. This Trio can't wait to get into your wallet, pocketbook, 401k, and every other aspect of savings you think you might have. The time is now for America to cast their vote. The polls are narrowing and McCain is a great closer in elections.
I stand by my belief that McCain will win this election. The majority of this great nation does not want unchecked socialism. The Messiah talks about how he wants to take care of this Nation, but he can't even take care of his family members, such as his half brother in Kenya living on 1.00 a month and his illegal alien half-aunt who is living in a slum outside of Boston. Obama stated in his book and has said on the stump, "I'm my brothers keeper, I'm my sisters keeper." Hey, Messiah, your family members are living in squalor, is this your vision of this Nation?
It's time America to vote for someone who has principaled leadership, and experience. It's time to elect a supporter of the military, someone who doesn't openly say he wishes to bankrupt an important sector of our economy, such as the coal industry.

I believe in you America. I believe that you will show up en masse tomorrow and cast your votes.
And I believe you will cast your vote for McCain/Palin.

Jon, can you pay for my healthcare?

Holy shit Bucs fans. The biggest comeback in our 32 year history. Another kickoff return for a touchdown, can you believe this? What a fantastic game to watch. Never mind the fact this should have been a smack down by the Bucs in KC, the Bucs have salvaged their season. Chan Gailey and Herm Edwards have nothing to lose, while rebuilding the Chiefs and at 1-6, why not mix it up a bit. Gruden, each and every week, the Bucs games come down to the final few minutes. How about simply stomping out an opponent by halftime with our oppressive defense?

But here are some facts-
30 points today- The Bucs scored 30 points today. Read former posts about when the Bucs score 27 or more points. 3-0 this season when scoring 27 or more points.

Clifton Smith- Thank God that Dexter, skids, Jackson is out of the lineup. I suggested Smith to return kicks earlier this season. Now he'll have more time to film that new commercial for Morgan and Morgan, slip and fall..........call.

Mike Bennett- This is a frustrating point for me. Why is he on this team? He got two touches today with Dunn being inactive. Late in the game, Smith was in instead of Bennett. Bennett was a ProBowl selection in 2002 and a 1,000 yard rusher. Why was Clifton Smith handling the duties instead of a veteran? If we aren't going to play him, why occupy a roster spot with him?

4 turnovers on the road- This is usually a recipe for disaster on the road. But this Tampa team has heart. I haven't scanned the net for research but usually when teams on the road turn the ball over 4 times, they win about 10% of the games.

24-3 in the 2nd Quarter- I went to read some of the posts at halftime at pewter report and it sounded like there was going to be a traffic issue on the Skyway for Bucs fans who were ready to jump. Ye of little faith..........

Mike Clayton- He was Rookie of the Year in 2004 and has failed to deliver in every year since. He has shown in the past few weeks, he can actually catch the ball again. He was a major impact in today's victory.

Jon Gruden- I'm a big supporter of yours', I've met you in person, but good god almighty, can we get away from the 4 yard out passes and stretch the field? Could we possibly attempt more than 5 passes down the field per game longer than 10 yards?

It was a great win today, the Bucs are 6-3 heading into their bye week. They play two of their next three games at home, the road game going to Detroit, a winless team who once again is coached by a former Bucs assistant. The Bucs are 4-0 at home, and 2-3 on the road. If we remain perfect at home, and .500 on the road, the Bucs will be 12-4 and headed into the playoffs.
There will be the major game of the season on MNF, December 8th, Bucs vs. Panthers. Come on Bucs and give me a birthday present. This has been an unusual season for the NFL. Cincy won today. The only win the Chiefs have is against the Broncos. The Bucs lost to the Broncos, then today the Bucs beat the Chiefs. There is no normalcy in the NFL, just parity.

60 hours America!

Karen and I went and cast our votes today and the early voting location near our house was swamped with people. Election officials were telling folks there was going to be a 2 hour wait on the final day of early voting. Well, as ABCNBCCBSCNNMSNBCNYTIMES will lead everyone to believe that everyone is clamoring for early voting because they are so excited and can't wait to vote for the Messiah, but a quick check of the bumper stickers in the parking lot on the way to drop in our ballots, 60% of the cars had McCain/Palin bumper stickers.

The election is shifting. There has been a shift in all the polls this last week towards McCain and the over night poll by Zogby showed McCain ahead 48-47. Interesting to watch the dems on the talking head shows today trying to dismiss a traditional democratic leaning poll. Never mind that republicans never trend well on friday or saturdays in polls. The Obama campaign peaked 2 weeks ago, and Joe the Plumber, spread the wealth around and the Annointed One's obvious disdain for the Constitution is resonating with the suburbs and rural areas of this great Nation.

Breaking news today, my skepticism over Obama's aunt living in a slum in Boston was justified today, the the Associated Press Obama, reported SHE IS AN ILLEGAL ALIEN. She was scheduled to be deported 4 FREAKING YEARS AGO. And of course, The Messiah said he was unaware she was living in Boston. Plllllllleeeeeeeeeeeaase. Obama has thrown so many people under the bus during this campaign, there isn't any more room.

Well, just as I make my football picks, I'm going to make my picks for the states on tuesday.
Relax, not all 50 states, just the swing states!

New Hampshire (4EV) has brought McCain back to life more than once- they carry him once again

Maine(4EV)
Missouri(11EV) middle America comes through
Indiana(12EV) see Missouri
Nevada(5EV)
Colorado(9EV) Polls show Obama up large in Nevada and Colorado, why was the Messiah spending precious late hours in states he is supposedly up in double digits with so few electoral votes?
Ohio (22EV) Southeast Ohio will carry the state for McCain
Virginia(13EV) Rural Virginia will see record turnout and refute the ACORN fraudulent voter registration in the northern Virginia counties.
North Carolina (15EV) The land of NASCAR is not voting for Obama.
Pennsylvania (21EV) McCain/Palin spent a huge amount of time in this state over the past two weeks despite polling showing them behind by double digits. Internal polling must be showing some trends in the state, of course Rep. Murtha calling his constituents racists or rednecks can't help Obama. Murtha, thankfully is now in jeopardy of losing his seat.
Florida (27 EV) Oh yes, the land of the hanging chad. Florida will come down to the the I-4 corridor. Florida will end up going to McCain.

This is going to be a very close election. If the networks don't call Virginia or Pennsylvania by 9:30pm, an announcement will be late into the evening, reminiscent of 2000. I believe there are enough Americans who vote that remember US History and went to school before the teachers union revised US History.

It is so important, if you have any friends who are on the fence, if you have some friends you think their vote wont matter, urge them to vote. If you have friends voting for Obama, simply ignore them because chances are they felt you made more money then them and they just want to share your wealth.

McCain was seriously funny on SNL tonight!
Come on America. Let's drag McCain across the finish line. We cannot afford the alternative.
